Insurance & CDW Disclosure
How optional collision damage waiver (CDW) and insurance work for rentals arranged via quantuforward.com. This is pre-contract information under the Law of Ukraine 'On Consumer Protection' No. 3153-IX.
CDW is optional
CDW and extra insurance are offered for convenience only. They are not required to rent, and declining them does not affect your right to rent. Price, deposit and standard liability terms are disclosed before booking.
Coverage and exclusions
- CDW limits your liability for accidental damage to the vehicle, subject to the excess stated in your agreement.
- Excluded: driving under the influence, unauthorised drivers, off-road, racing or breach of the rental terms.
- Excluded: tyres, wheels, glass, mirrors, interior, roof, undercarriage and keys unless expressly stated.
- Excluded: towing, loss of use, administration fees, fines and personal belongings.
- Not covered: third-party liability, injury or damage to other property.
Not a substitute for personal insurance
CDW is not accident, health, travel or liability insurance. You remain responsible for your own medical, travel and liability risks.
Deposit and excess
A refundable deposit or card authorisation may be blocked at pick-up. Amounts appear in your confirmation and in the rental agreement governed by the Civil Code of Ukraine No. 435-IV.

Email contact@quantuforward.com or call +380 961 890 2767. We reply within 30 days. Under the Law of Ukraine 'On Consumer Protection' No. 3153-IX you may also contact the consumer protection authority or resolve the matter in court.
